Hot, medium and mild classes can be found at many times throughout the day. While we specialize in the instruction of hot yoga, we also understand that too hot is not cool and also that a heated studio is not for everyone – and that certain types of yoga do not lend themselves to a heated environment. We offer classes in styles ranging from hot to hatha, Anusara to Vinyasa with frequent guest instructors and special workshops.

YOGA 101 This is a great class for first-time yoga students. The pace is much slower than our regular classes, the heat is mild, there are fewer postures and the fundamentals are explained in detail. All poses in this class are accessible to any level of physical fitness and ability and modifications are taught to avoid pain in any injured areas. This is a great first step for all who wish to try yoga but are too intimidated by the perceptions many have about yoga.
RESTORATIVE
This therapeutic style of yoga promotes relaxation and releases the deep-seated layers of tension in the body. You will use soft blankets, blocks, bolsters and other props, and receive hands on personalized adjustments so that the body opens gently, yet deeply from the inside out. This non-athletic, supported practice of yoga allows you to experience the true therapeutic aspects of the poses. This passive style yoga is very approachable and beneficial for new students and people with physical limitations as well as the experienced yogi.
HOT YOGA But not too hot! These classes are friendly to a beginner and can also be as challenging as those more experienced might make it, accommodating all levels. Tone and strengthen your muscles and cardiovascular system. Classes are 60 minutes and 75 minutes. (See schedule for "Hot 60 – A", "Hot 60 – B" and "Hot 75")
HOT POWER SCULPT Heated 60 minute flow combined with individual sets of hand-weights targeting specific muscle groups for a full body work-out. The addition of weights as you move through the postures challenges your balance and allows for greater depth in each pose while building strength, your cardiovascular system and adding lean muscle mass. Add this class to your routine and see and feel the long-term benefits immediately.
SLOW FLOW
This is a gentle yoga designed for those who prefer a slightly less challenging class with a slower pace than the rhythm found in our other classes. This is a great segway from our Yoga 101 class but can be enjoyed by all levels. The room is mildly warmed to help facilitate the loosening of muscles and joints.
ANUSARA
Anusara Yoga is a powerful hatha yoga system that unifies a Tantric philosophy of intrinsic Goodness with Universal Principles of Alignment. Anusara Yoga is based upon an uplifting philosophy, epitomized by a "celebration of the heart," that looks for the good in all people and all things. Consequently, students of all levels of ability and yoga experience are honored for their unique differences, limitations, and talents. These are non-heated classes.
VINYASA
The word "Vinyasa" means "movements with breath". These classes consist of flowing poses and sequences that are linked to the breath. This class is diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy, but in general is a vigorous and more athletic approach to yoga. Mildly-warm classes accommodate all levels.
YOGA FOR ATHLETES
This is a challenging class designed to test your limits. Ashtanga based postures mixed with some moderately aggressive core building exercises will heat you up from the inside outm build lean muscle and pump your cardiovascular system. Mildly warm classes for yogis with some experience and a moderate to high level of physical fitness.
YOGA BARRE Yoga Barre is a full body workout designed to firm butts, tone arms, thin thighs, and flatten tummies. We use elements of ballet, yoga and weightlifting fusing them all together in a 60 minute totally intense session. This workout is a very effective way to change your entire body, strengthening and stretching through graceful movement.
